ROSE Compute turns the walls and surfaces of existing buildings into GPU data centers. We are hiring the first leadership team that takes it from a signed first host and a live community round to deployed capacity in buildings across the country. Early stage, real work, and equity in what you help build.
Most careers pages sell you the dream and footnote the reality. Ours is the other way around, because the people who join at this stage deserve the whole picture.
A
Early stage, real traction
ROSE Compute is a young company with a working thesis and proof it is moving: a place in the NVIDIA Inception program, a first building host signed, a community round live on Wefunder, and a provisional patent filed on the panel system. It is not a finished company, and nobody here will pretend otherwise.
B
Compensation is contingent
Roles and compensation are contingent on the success of capital raises and contracts being awarded. If a raise or a contract does not land, the role it funds does not start. We would rather tell you that in the first paragraph than after you have rearranged your life around a start date.
C
Equity is how you share in it
Equity participation is part of how early team members share in what they build. The people who produce the hosts, the partnerships, and the capital that make this company real should own a piece of that outcome, tied to what they actually deliver.
02 Open roles
Seven seats. Each one owns a number this company lives or dies by.
Every role below states what it owns, what success looks like, and what you must have already done. Multiple candidates are considered for every seat. There are no exceptions to the proof standard in section 03.
ROLE 01
Vice President of Marketing
Own ROSE's story in the market, and turn attention into hosts, partners, and investors.
What you own
Positioning and message across the site, film, press, and the founder's public voice
The campaign calendar that supports the raise and the host pipeline
Marketing measurement: what ran, what it produced, what it cost
What success looks like
Measurable inbound from building hosts, partners, and capital, growing quarter over quarter
A market that repeats ROSE's story back accurately, in ROSE's words
What you must have already done
Run marketing that produced revenue or capital, at companies whose work can be looked up
Built campaigns end to end yourself, not only managed agencies doing it
Search status: this search is active and multiple candidates are under consideration.
ROLE 02
Chief Marketing Officer
The senior seat. Own the relationships that put ROSE in front of the largest audiences and the largest checks.
What you own
Relationships with the largest distribution channels, large investors, and investment firms
ROSE's presence wherever distribution and capital decisions are made
The marketing organization as it forms under you
What success looks like
Distribution agreements and capital relationships that did not exist before you arrived
A marketing function that runs to a standard without the founder in the room
What you must have already done
Held senior marketing leadership at scale, with outcomes in distribution or capital formation
Built relationships we can verify, with people who will confirm them on a call
ROLE 03
Vice President of Capital Partnerships
Own investor relations and raise execution, from first conversation to closed round.
What you own
The investor pipeline, worked daily, with records the founder can inspect at any time
The flow of round materials, diligence answers, and follow-up
The closing process, alongside the founder
What success looks like
A raise that closes on schedule, with clean records and investors who were told the truth
Investors who stay close after the round and open their own networks
What you must have already done
Run, or materially supported, a capital raise from pipeline to close
Kept investor records disciplined enough to survive diligence
ROLE 04
Director of Strategic Partnerships, Energy and Utilities
Own the partnerships with utilities, energy companies, and the channels that reach them.
What you own
The partner pipeline across energy and utilities, from target list to signed agreement
Joint offerings that put ROSE panels into a partner's buildings and customer base
The relationship map: who decides, who blocks, who champions
What success looks like
Signed partners whose sites and customers become ROSE deployments
A pipeline the founder can read in five minutes and trust
What you must have already done
Business development inside energy or utilities, with named accounts
Closed partnership agreements you can point to
ROLE 05
Director of Host Development
Own the supply side: the land and building hosts whose surfaces become ROSE panel sites.
What you own
The host pipeline, from first conversation to signed host agreement
Site qualification, working with the technical team on power and surface
The host relationship after signing, through installation
What success looks like
A growing book of signed, qualified sites in the metros that matter
Hosts who refer the next host
What you must have already done
Signed property owners or land holders to agreements before, leases, easements, or site deals
Worked a territory or a book of business with numbers attached
ROLE 06
Community Partnerships Lead
Own ROSE's rollout through a large community partner network, thousands of members at a time.
What you own
The community rollout calendar and the partner communications that run on it
Member education and support through the community round
Accuracy and compliance of everything the community hears about ROSE
What success looks like
A community launch that brings members in as owners, informed and unhurried
A partner organization that asks to do it again, bigger
What you must have already done
Run community or membership programs at scale, with results you can show
Handled member communications where accuracy carried legal or financial weight
ROLE 07
Technical Program Manager, Deployments
Own the deployment program, from signed site to running panels, with evidence at every step.
What you own
Deployment plans and milestones for every site in the program
Installer and vendor coordination, and the schedule they work to
Per-site delivery reporting that a customer or an auditor can check
What success looks like
Sites delivered on the date promised, with the paperwork to prove it
Problems surfaced early, in writing, with a plan attached
What you must have already done
Program-managed physical deployments in construction, energy, telecom, or data centers
Run vendors against a schedule and held the date
03 Apply
Proof, not promises.
Every application asks for the same evidence: the accomplishments you claim, links that back them, and three references we can call. We verify before any offer conversation. If it cannot be verified, it does not count, and that standard applies to every candidate for every seat.
Application received
Your application is in.
It is recorded in our system with the proof and references you provided. We review applications against their evidence, and if we move forward we contact references before any offer conversation. If the role you applied for is contingent on a raise or contract still in progress, that timeline applies to our reply as well.
04 The terms, once more
ROSE Compute LLC is an early stage, pre-revenue company. Nothing on this page is an offer of employment or a guarantee of compensation. Roles are filled as the capital raises and contracts that fund them are secured, and any equity participation is granted only under a written agreement, on the terms that agreement states. If that candor costs us a candidate, it was the wrong candidate.
How applications are handled. Applications submitted on this page are recorded in ROSE Compute's applicant system on the Biz Dev App platform. Claimed accomplishments are verified against the proof links and references provided. Application data is used only to evaluate candidacy for ROSE Compute roles and is not sold. This page is operated by ROSE Compute LLC, Houston, Texas.
